Warwick Castle

In summer 2025, Midland Conservation Ltd completed a phase of works on the external elevations of the Grade I listed Domestic Range, East Chapel, at Warwick Castle. Located within the environs of the Scheduled Monument castle walls, the project focused on preserving the fabric of this historic structure through careful repair and replacement works.
Key Works:
- Masonry repairs to cornice, string courses, window surrounds, and related elements
- Replacement of sand-cast lead roof covering to the lower roof
- Repairs to lead rainwater goods
- Associated miscellaneous external repairs

Each installation is carried out with care, ensuring watertight protection and visual harmony with the original architecture.
LIME PLASTERING
Lime plastering embodies the enduring art of traditional wall finishes. Our craftsmen apply this breathable, natural material with care and precision, using time-honoured methods passed down through generations. From restoring heritage interiors to conserving historic façades, each application is tailored to preserve the integrity, texture, and character of the original surface.
